Established as AJ Mobility in 1981, AJM have over thirty years of experience of working with the health and care sectors.  We deliver, refurbish, modify, repair and maintain wheelchairs and powerchairs for NHS wheelchair services across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex and parts of London, serving over 50,000 individuals a year from six logistics centres.  We also operate Community Equipment Contracts and have a division which supplies and servicesbeds,mobility equipment and moving and handlingequipment for hospitals and residential homes.  In addition we have a retail website ( and showrooms which offer mobility and independence solutions direct to those in need.

Our approach is simple – we believe that we can use our entrepreneurial skills to improve thequality of both NHS and private healthcare whilst offering maximum value for money. We have the best people in place, from our call centreto our engineers and through to management.  At every stage we believe in fostering a supportive atmosphere and believe that if our staff find their work an enjoyable experience they will carry it out in a way that ensures an excellent, caring experience for the customer.
