W&P Assessment and Training, established in 2001 is a training provider for the Adult Health and Social Care sector specialising in Care Quality Compliance and Business Support for small and medium size Care organisations.

We also offer the following specialised services.
Care Compliance workshops- Maintaining and Improving Compliance.
Care Compliance Workshops are delivered nationally across England, via a network of Associates, who come from a variety of backgrounds including social workers, nursing, care business owners with both residential and domiciliary backgrounds, ex CQC inspectors and other management posts across all Health and Social Care settings. The workshops are aimed at Registered Managers, owners, strategic and senior level management to offer up to date, well researched information as well as being “hands-on” with the 2014 Regulations and Fundamental Standards. These workshops are also available as a bespoke in- house service which is tailored to your individual business needs.
Business Support Services.
Business Support is exactly that, a wealth of experience with the appropriate business knowledge that can support you from the first steps of setting up and completing the registration requirements of the Care Quality Commission, through to your first Tender application and beyond. This could include business management support, a full review of your business activity and a mentoring or coaching service to individuals.
W&P can advise and support with any issues arising from a recent CQC report or with the implementation of any action or support plans initiated by the Care Quality Commission or your local authority contractual requirements.
Staff training resources.
W&P’s Staff training Packs are not e-learning but come with knowledge sets and workbooks to facilitate competency, not just learning. They are a flexible, cost effective way of updating staff, can be used time and time again and are regularly reviewed and revised in line with regulatory and legislative requirements.
The Care Certificate is the latest addition to these staff training resources. W&P’s Care Certificate pack has been designed to be easy to follow and accessible for both the trainer and the trainee. Written by users for users, we have made our packs more manageable by dividing the core units into 3 x 1 month sections making modular learning much easier.
It comes on a flash drive for convenience and includes a video pen so the trainer can use the voice recording facility to record evidence as opposed to writing it
As part of our development of services, we have over the past years been piloting Service Audits. As an ISO9001 accredited company we have developed the audit, using the Fundamental Standards as the foundation and give a rating of our findings, an in-depth report as well as identified action planning addressing any issues. We act as a Critical Friend using a network of well qualified and experienced associates from a variety of backgrounds including owners, inspectors, nursing and statutory sectors. These are bespoke business Audits tailored to your business activity.
