The Sidhil name has been synonymous with quality for many years, with the company enjoying an established reputation in the
acute, community, residential/nursing home and GP sectors for its flexible, functional electrically operated beds, surfaces and healthcare furniture. Today, Sidhil’s reputation for performance and innovation is based on total commitment to the developing requirements of the healthcare market.
In recent years, Sidhil has been rapidly gaining additional market share in the nursing and residential home sector. The company now manages major contracts with leading names such as Barchester, BUPA, Care UK, Nazareth Healthcare and Runwood Homes, supplying a comprehensive range of profiling beds and static/dynamic surfaces. Key to this growth has been Sidhil’s focus on the developing
requirements of the care market, backed up by investment in new and enhanced products developed specifically for applications in this arena.
Combining performance and aesthetics
This year, Sidhil has placed additional focus on the aesthetics of products for nursing and residential homes, enhancing the ever-
popular Bradshaw bed range with the addition of three new wood colours, ash, elm and chestnut. Coupled with an attractive choice of padded head end colours, the Bradshaw now combines performance and functionality with a softer, more rounded domestic appearance ideally suited to the needs of nursing and residential care homes.
Improved aesthetics are never achieved at the expense of comfort, performance and functionality. Sidhil’s fully profiling Bradshaw range includes the Bradshaw Low bed, which can be reduced to a mattress platform height of just 20cm for improved resident safety, and the Bradshaw Bariatric which is specially engineered to handle maximum user weights of up to 320kg (50 stone).
Resting comfortably and safely
For particularly vulnerable residents, Sidhil’s latest Artemis and Apollo high specification dynamic therapy mattress systems combine exacting performance and ultimate reliability with defined clinical benefits. Developed in line with current nursing procedures, the new range delivers high to very high pressure care risk management as defined by the EPUAP and NICE guidelines, fulfilling the pressure care management needs of all healthcare environments, covering acute, community, nursing and residential care.
Also new this year is the Acclaim Flow, a non-powered hybrid mattress designed around Sidhil’s intelligent Air Flow Technology.
This self-regulating air displacement and intake system uses the patient’s own body mass and weight to provide the correct surface to optimise tissue viability, with a clever combination of foam and air filled cells for effective pressure redistribution, ensuring optimum comfort for patients.

Sidhil products are also proving very competitive on the global market in terms of both price and functionality, driven by factors
including quality UK manufacture and design innovation. Since 2008, when the company began a drive to expand existing export markets worldwide, this area of the business has grown steadily and now represents a significant percentage of total sales.
