Leading mobility manufacturer Invacare Ltd has presented a Top End handcycle to double world champion Hannah Cockroft to
assist with her training routine in preparation for Rio 2016.
The company made the presentation at the state-of-the-art training facilities in Loughborough University earlier this month where Hannah regularly trains. The lightweight and adjustable Top End Force 3 handcycle will provide Hannah with alternative training equipment to build upper body strength and stamina.
A delighted Hannah said; “I would like to thank Invacare and Top End for providing me with this amazing handcycle. It will be invaluable to me as I can use it for cross training, to help build the strength and power that I need to stay on top in an increasingly competitive sport. I really appreciate all of the support that I receive from Invacare and Top End, without it, I would probably not be able to continue to compete.”
“We are very proud to support Hannah with sports and active chairs that help to achieve her ambitions. She is a true inspiration to so many people and not only dedicated to her sport but also a great person to work with.” commented Huw Roderick, Business Development Manager, Invacare Ltd.
