5_JoySpinner_RB_Systems Mobility Networks, a leading global provider of powered vehicle lifts, ramps and access solutions, provided the perfect showcase platform to launch two new pioneering products at the UK’s Mobility Roadshow (25-27th June 2015, Donington Park, Derby).

As a respected worldwide supplier of wheelchair access solutions for buses, coaches, specialist transport and accessible cars, Mobility Networks was proud to sponsor the 2015 Mobility Roadshow. On Stand TD02, Mobility Networks hosted a global launch of its new ultra-thin vehicle cassette lift manufactured by Italy’s Autolift and revolutionary electronic vehicle controls from RB Systems based in Israel. These notable new products were displayed alongside other examples from the Mobility Networks portfolio including Access Lite and Inboard platform lifts from PLS and Flexirail vehicle flooring. Popular UK TV celebrity Dr Hilary Jones also visited the Mobility Networks stand during his official tour of the show and was given a product demonstration by PLS Managing Director Adam Beck.

Autolift’s ‘F6 Multi-link’ wheelchair passenger vehicle lift was a highlight at The Mobility Roadshow. Its revolutionary design provides one of the lightest and most slim, powered cassette platforms available in the world whilst delivering assured strength

and reliability.  Working in partnership with Mobility Networks, Autolift is a trusted specialist in powered vehicle lifts and its heritage for innovation is once again reiterated in this latest lift. The aluminum F6 platform with stainless steel cassette was deployed on a regular basis to international trade and consumer visitors to this year’s Roadshow who were able to see and understand why its design is so unique. It requires no vehicle modifications for installation, which means fitting is fast and efficient – the OEM fuel tank and exhaust systems do not need any alteration and remain Euro 6 compliant. This side access lift and its housing cassette are only a mere 60mm in height and suitable for a variety of MPVs. It has an impressive lifting capacity of 300kg and incorporates a powered roll-off stop and light indicators for added safety. Its cutting-edge ‘multi-link’ engineered arms ensure smooth and whisper-quiet lifting and lowering – delivering unparalleled stability and safety.

Also on Mobility Networks’ stand, RB Systems unveiled its ground breaking adapted driving controls for users with limited hand movement. This electronic specialist demonstrated a range of steering wheel mounted driving aids that allow direct operation of

secondary vehicle controls such as indicators, lights and wipers. RB Systems’ JoySpinner is the only controller of its kind that incorporates a mini-joystick to activate 12 different functions. This original design provides greater ease of use over competitor solutions that commonly encompass small buttons that individually activate vehicle operations. With the JoySpinner, drivers are able to operate secondary car functions through intuitive thumb movements without the need to visually engage with a control panel – hence substantially increasing driver safety. All driving controls from RB Systems leverage the latest technology in terms of micro controllers, flexible computer language and bluetooth connections to vehicle computer systems. Processers are compact for

simple retro-fitting behind dashboards and hand controls ensure non-invasive installation.

Mike Simmonds, Mobility Networks CEO commented: “The 2015 Mobility Roadshow has been a success for Mobility Networks
