A national live-in care provider is delighted to have received an overall ‘good’ rating following a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission.
Promedica24’s Coventry service was deemed to be safe, effective, caring and responsive, with live-in care workers seen to deliver care that was respectful of client’s privacy and dignity and took account of people’s individual preferences.
As part of the process, inspectors questioned clients and their families and found that people were happy with the care they received and felt that ‘staff had the knowledge and skills to provide their care with confidence’ and that they ‘respected people’s wishes and treated them with dignity.’
Client comments included: “I am much improved since coming home, with the care they provide” and “Absolutely brilliant, staff are fantastic.”
A relative of one client, stated: “Knowing the staff understand
is great as my family member needs lots of encouragement, which they get.”
The report also noted that staff had received training before starting to work for the provider, which ensured their skills and knowledge reflected the needs of the people they cared for.
Paula Beaney, Quality Assurance Director at Promedica24, said: “We’re thrilled to receive such a fantastic CQC report that reflects the hard work and dedication of our care team.
“We believe passionately in the benefits of live-in care at Promedica24 and providing people with exceptional person centred care.
