Reuben Manor care home in Yarm is celebrating its 7th year of operation this month. Reuben Manor has been looking after its highly discerning clientele from the area since it opened in June 2009. Since then it has become the area’s leading care home for its unrivalled facilities, uniquely styled environment and exceptional personalised care and support.
As part of the celebrations Reuben Manor hosted a party for all their teams, residents and their families. It started with a piano, flute and harp recital from the children of the local Yarm School. Teesside High School then sang, performed a comedy sketch and a carried out a dance routine for everyone. Staff teams at Reuben Manor participated in a sponsored relay race (money raised went to the activities fund). This was followed by a BBQ and a sing-a-long.
Julie Peyton, Home Manager said “Reuben Manor is a unique care home with some amazing characters. To be in our 7th year is something to be very proud of and we thought it only right to take a moment to reflect on the journey we have taken and have some fun celebrating this milestone.
Alison Tait, Head of Operations said “We have a strong and committed team here at Reuben Manor who enable residents on short term breaks and long term care to have fun and enjoy life. With a dedicated Activities team, we can ensure each resident’s individual needs are supported.”
