Nominations for the awards are open to all OT professionals, so register for free today, then start submitting your nominations for the awards!
The awards are aimed at grass roots OT professionals, whether in the statutory or private sector, to recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions made to both the profession and to the clients they serve.
For 2016, there will be FIVE award categories, which include:
- Outstanding Senior OT of the year
- Outstanding OT
- Outstanding OTI/OTA/Support Worker
- Outstanding Innovator (person)
- Outstanding Innovation (product, service or tool)
All entries received will be peer reviewed by a panel of some of the UK’s leading OT figure heads. Once again the Awards will be chaired by Jen Gash - OT Coach, with the rest of the panel made up by Robert Birmingham - Independent OT, Liz Waterman - Retired from J Webb but now Private Business Consultant, Anna Clampin - Course Director MSc Occupational Therapy Coventry University. Teresa Buchan - Head of Practice development, Kent & Medway NHS.
The panel will select finalists from all the nominations received, with the winners being announced at the show. Winners will receive £200 per award for use towards additional CPD.
That’s not all! There’s over 60 hours of free accredited CPD education to choose from across the two days, covering keynote industry issues, mental health, children & families, physical and innovation, as well as the packed trade floor where 300 OT specific suppliers will be showcasing all the latest products, services and innovations.
There will be something to benefit all members of the OT team.
