Following the huge success of previous Occupational Therapy Shows, we have worked hard to design a show this year that offers you and your team even more. As such, we are proud to present more nationally and internationally renowned speakers, exciting CPD opportunities, innovative trade exhibitors and amazing opportunities to have fun and network this year!
With more than we could possibly include in one article, here is a quick round-up of what this year’s Occupational Therapy Show has to offer…
Free Major Exhibition
With a bustling trade floor comprising of more than 270 manufacturers and suppliers, our free exhibition is the ideal place to source the latest and greatest products on the market. Whether you are looking for innovations to streamline your daily processes, advanced new skills to enhance your treatment provision or expert advice to take the next step in your career, we have it all at The Occupational Therapy Show!
You’ll be able to find out more about the products and services available from Invacare, AKW, Invacare, Handicare and Sunrise Medical, to name but a few! You can also source information from some of the leading associations and charities to find out about their inspiring projects and see how you can get involved.
What’s more, following on from the success of the 2017 Poster Zone and OT Show Awards at the Show, the organisers of The Occupational Therapy Show are delighted to announce it will return once again for 2018.
The Poster Zone will be located on the exhibition floor and will continue to celebrate and provide a format for individuals and teams within the OT profession to share best practice and network with colleagues from across the UK.
The OT Awards are aimed at grass roots OT professionals, whether in the statutory or private sector, to recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions made to both the profession and to the clients they serve.
As you will have come to expect from the show, this year we are excited to present yet more globally renowned speakers for you to listen to and learn from. The outstanding speaker line-up comprises of Professor Sue Baptiste, Graeme Smith, Ida Kahlin, Inga Warren and many, many more.
Each considered leaders in their respective fields, you are sure to gain some invaluable pearls of wisdom while developing your skills and gaining fresh new ideas.
With such impressive lecturers, The OT Show will provide hours of accredited CPD for the whole team to enjoy from four major theatres, two on the show floor theatres and exhibitor led education. Here you will find conference streams dedicated to each field will once again cater for your needs, and will cover:
- Mental Health
- Moving & Handling
- Neurological Practice
The Paediatric and Adaption Trails
We have also got two specific trails at the show. The Paediatric Trail returns again this year, if your specialist area is in paediatrics, or this is an area of interest, then The Paediatric Trail is for you!
A NEW addition for this year is the Adaptions Trail. The Adaption Trail will make it easier for OTs to find new and updated products that could support their clients. By visiting these exhibitors and seminars, you will have a greater chance of locating and learning about new products in the market that would help your clients with independent living.
There will be an action packed programme full of relevant CPD opportunities, as well as an exhibitor list dedicated to paediatric and adaption products and services. Keep checking the website for regular updates on all participating exhibitors as well as key seminars for this specialism.
Whole lot more… While discovering new innovations, gaining accredited hours of CPD and learning from some of the very best in the business, you’ll also have the perfect opportunity to network with like-minded professionals who share your passion for excellence. And what better way to do this than over a few drinks on the house, courtesy of The Occupational Therapy Show. Taking place in the Networking Lounge on Wednesday 21st November at 5.30pm.
